Rubber Flooring
Rubber has been used as resilient flooring since the 1880. During the 1960’s, however, rubber was displaced by PVC, perceived to be more modern, weld ability and with a lower price.
40 years on, the disposal of plastic is proving a problem. The environmental impact of PVC is once again making rubber the natural choice for environmental and forward thinking designers and facility owners.
In addition, rubber offers superior acoustic insulation. It is anti-bacterial and hygenic, it offers enhanced antistatic qualities and is fully weldable.
